I met Julie and Corey back in the fall and hit it off with them immediately. During our meeting, Corey went to the restroom and Julie quickly informed me she wanted to do a boudoir session for him as a wedding gift. Very fun. I love those and don’t get to do nearly enough of them.

Well, by the time we shot their engagement session, Julie and I had spent 3 hours, together with her friend and MOH Carolina (pronounced the Spanish way) and Carolina’s totally adorable mini dachshund, Teka, shooting her boudoir. Then we had spent hours emailing and talking on the phone about the shots that were going in Corey’s album. Here’s a few, plus some doggie boudoir of Teka.

So imagine how hard it was to meet up a Piedmont Park a few weeks later and pretend we’d only ever met once!  We both almost spilled the beans a number of times, but we managed to hold our tongues until the wedding.  She gave him the book the night before and he loved it!  He was totally surprised and thrilled.  In addition, we got some great shots of the two of them at their engagement session.
